Samsung has finally brought it’s cool mobile phone, the Samsung Corby to the U.S. via an official launch during the CES 2010. Sporting a chic and trendy design with touchscreen display, the Samsung Corby is a nice mobile phone that will most likely appeal to the younger mobile phone users.

The Samsung Corby features simple and easy to use user interface via Samsung’s Touchwiz. It also has a haptic feedback system that allows you to customize the Corby phone with applications and widgets available at the Samsung widgets store.

For controls and menu navigation, the Samsung Corby has a nice “one finger zoom” feature that allows you to zoom in-and-out using your finger. It also lets you unlock the phone by drawing a letter on the screen. Since this phone is geared for the younger crowd, the Samsung Corby features the simple Pop-up SNS (Social Networking Service) notification feature that lets you update your status as well as access your friends’ updates on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. The Samsung Corby also supports YouTube, Flickr, Picasa, Photobucket and other SNS sites.

The Samsung Corby comes in several funky colored covers – yellow, orange, pink, white as well as fashion jackets with patter design cover and standard black cover. These covers are interchangeable so you can mix and match it with what you are wearing at the moment.

One of the slider phones from Samsung is the SGH-U600. It has a cool design with its attractive large 2.22” display that features dazzling 262K color with crisp images on the QVGA TFT screen. It is integrated with a Smart UI that makes easier usability and especially on search and messaging applications and even lets the user adjust the brightness of the display.

The SGH-U600 has a 3.2 megapixel camera with allowing you to save special moments into still and moving images. It has a 4x digital zoom allowing you to have better focus when taking pictures. This 103.2×49.3×10.9 mm has other features such as FM radio capable, TVout connectivity, OMA DRM 2.0, and Document Viewer. It also allows you to make SMS and MMS messages in a single composer.

Samsung today announced three new phones in India – Samsung Corby Speed, Mpower Muzik 219 and Duos 259. The Corby Speed is the CDMA version of Samsung Corby S3650. The phone supports OMH (Open Market Handset) technology, allowing it to run on networks that support OMH SIM cards. Like Corby S3650, the Corby Speed also has 2.8-inch LCD screen, MP3 operator, Social networking apps, 2-MP digital camera, microSD memory expansion slot, and 80MB internal memory.

The Samsung Duos 259 is a dual SIM phone (be delivered of two SIM card slots) that supports both GSM and CDMA network, a feature that we all wish to be delivered of in America. Its features include a 1.3-MP camera, Stereo FM radio, Mp3 player, and microSD card slot.

The Mpower Muzik 219 is an entry-level phone that runs on CDMA network only. It has music player, FM radio, VGA camera, stereo speakers, and multiple languages support (Hindi, English, Bengali, Tamil and Telegu).

The selling prices for Samsung Corby Speed, Mpower Muzik 219 and Duos 10,400 INR ($224), 8,350 INR ($179), and 3,599 INR ($77) respectively.
