The Samsung i5510 (aka Galaxy 551) will be launched in Australia via Telstra. For your info, the handset features a 3.2 inch touchscreen display with 240 x 400 pixels, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, DNSe sound enhancement, 3.2MP autofocus camera, 667 MHz processor and runs on Android 2.2 OS. HTC Wildfire Android 2.2 FroYo update

HTC recently released Android 2.2 FroYo update for HTC Wildfire in India. You can easily download the Android 2.2 FroYo update via the Air (OTA).
This update is about 58 MB in size.
To start the update go to settings->about phone-> system software updates
Make sure you backup your phone before proceeding with the update.

Huawei Ideos launched in India this month

A new Android 2.2 smartphone from Huawei will reportedly be launched in India this month. Called the Huawei Ideos, the handset will sport a 2.8 inch QVGA display, but other than that it offers quite a decent set of features, including 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, full Google suite of services, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headset jack, and a 3.2MP camera. The Huawei Ideos will become available for 8,000 INR ($178).
