Walmart Sells 16GB iPhone 4 For Only $147
Walmart has started selling the 16GB iPhone 4 for $147 a two-year contract. As a price comparison, AT&T and Verizon sells this smartphone for $199. The price reduction applies to both the AT&T and Verizon versions of the iPhone 4. The $147 on-contract price is also available for the black and white models.
White iPhone 4 Now Available Via Vodafone UK
Vodafone UK will launch the white version of iPhone 4. The smartphone will be available on April, 27th 2011. This information is said to come from an internal memo distributed to employees within a phone store called BelCompany in the Netherlands. According to a Korean site, ETNews, the Apple iPhone 5 will be announced in June 2011 at an event hosted by Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs. Word has it that the upcoming iPhone 5 will feature an 8-megapixel camera. Sony chief Sir Howard Stringer has confirmed in an interview that the company’s camera sensor plant in Sendai had been hit by the Japanese earthquake, so the shipment of camera sensors to Apple would be delayed.
