RIM will introduce a new smartphone from BlackBerry. Called the BlackBerry Storm 3, the handset packs a 3.7-inch (800 x 480) capacitive touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, a 1.2GHz processor, an 8GB eMMC, a 512MB of RAM, a magnetometer, a proximity sensor, an accelerometer, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, a 3G Mobile Hotspot capabilities, an optical trackpad, a 1230mAh battery, OpenGL ES 2.0, a microSD slot and runs on BlackBerry OS 6.1. Videotron launches LG Wink slider and red BlackBerry Curve 3G

Videotron has finally announced the LG Wink cheap sliding featurephone and red BlackBerry Curve 3G in Canada. Just to remind you, the LG Wink has a 2-inch display with a resolution of 176×220, supports HSPA (at a maximum speed of 3.6 Mbps), it has quadband GSM, a 1.3-megapixel camera with video recording capabilities, 128 MB internal memory, a microSD card slot that can take cards up to 16 GB in size, and Bluetooth 2.1. The LG Wink’s dimensions are 99,5 x 48 x 16,4 mm and it weighs 109.5 g. The price of LG Wink is $159.95, no contracts involved, or for $9.95 if you opt for a 3-year contract.
The red BlackBerry Curve 3G is available for $49.95 on Videotron’s ‘reduced price’ plan, or for $349.95 without a contract.

The FCC has unveiled the upcoming BlackBerry 8980 that the phone features a quad-band GSM antenna, Wi-Fi b/g/n, s 3.2-megapixel camera with flash and the BlackBerry OS 5. The device also has a similar design with the BlackBerry 9700. Stay tuned for more updates.

RIM today announced the launch of BlackBerry Bold 9780 smartphone in India.The handset comes with BlackBerry 6, a new operating system that retains the familiar and trusted features that distinguish the BlackBerry brand with easy to use features.
The BlackBerry Bold 9780 supports 3G networks around the world, includes Wi-Fi and GPS for location-based applications and geo-tagging. It comes with a 5 MP camera with a full complement of high-end features including continuous auto focus, scene modes, image stabilization, flash and video recording and includes 512 MB Flash memory and an expandable memory card slot that supports up to 32 GB of additional storage.
