Korean manufacturer LG has finally taken the wraps off their entry level Android handset, officially revealing their latest smartphone to be the LG Optimus.
The LG Optimus features a 3 inch touchscreen display with resolution of 320×480 pixels, 3 megapixel camera with geotagging and external memory of up to 32GB via microSD card slot. The LG Optimus runs Android and is powered by Qualcomm MSM7227 600 Mhz processor.
The LG Optimus 3G smartphone also features built-in multimedia player, Wi-Fi, GPS, A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 2.1, DivX and Xvid support, a 1500 mAh battery, integration of social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Bebo, a customized UI, push email and support Google services such as Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube. It will be available in black, white, pink and silver color and measures 109x 54.9x 12.9mm and weighs 115 grams.
