AT&T has just announced yet another Android handset, an expanding segment in the carrier’s portofolio. The new model is Samsung Captivate i897.
Samsung Captivate features a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, it runs Android 2.1, supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS and Google Mobile Services (Android Market, Google Maps, Gmail, Google Talk and more). There’s also a 3.5mm audio jack on board, a 5 megapixel camera with HD video recording, a 1GHz processor and 16GB of internal memory, plus a microSD card slot.
Samsung Captivate i897 cell phone supports GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack and run the Android 2.1 OS, this cell phone will soon be available in the U.S. market.
